Pond Bottom Degrader

Pond bottom and water quality play an important role in aquaculture practice. Pond Bottom Degrader is ever ready with degrading bacterial brigade for cleaning bottoms of shrimp culture pond system. Pond Bottom Degrader is a biotechnological product containing beneficial bacterial communities to degrade pollutants at the base of the pond. It also maintains optimum level of pH, alkalinity and reduces stress condition of the shrimps. It shall continuously degrade the toxic muck formed in overall pond system in general and more particularly at the bottom. It is much easier to prevent diseases than trying to cure them. Pond Bottom Degrader can also help improving water quality and activating optimum ecological balance in the shrimp pond.

Functions:

1. Degrade the toxic substance at the pond bottom.
2. Eliminate toxic nitrogenous compounds in the pond system.
3. Prevent growth of pathogens at the bottom of pond system.
4. Utilizes and reduces obnoxious gases in the water.
5. Compatible with feed.
6. Prevents the occurrence of diseases in shrimps.

9. Direct applications

Applications:

A. During Pond Preparation
20 litres/hectare while manuring the pond.

B. During Culture Period
1st and 2nd Month: 2.5 litres/hectare twice a week
3rd and 4th Month: 4 litres/hectare twice a week
5th month till harvest: 5 litres/hectare twice a week

Total quantity per hectare/crop: 135-140 lit (approx) for the production range 1.5 tons/hectare.

Contents:
A combination of three effective and friendly bacterial strains from culture bank of Biotechnological Resources Centre.

Application Hints:

1. Time of application is 9-11 am. (When sunlight is bright but not intense)
2. Application of fertilizers is not advisable if water sources and soil contain high level of nutrients.
3. Dosage and usage period of Pond Bottom Degrader could be changed in accordance with water quality parameters and pond condition.
4. Spread Pond Bottom Degrader to cover as much area as possible.
5. Ensure application of Pond Bottom Degrader after feeding time.
